• The SNP Consortium Ltd. - is a non-profit foundation organized for the purpose of providing public genomic data.
• NHLBI Programs for Genomic Applications (PGA) - is a major initiative to advance functional genomic research related to heart, lung, blood, and sleep health and disorders. This site provides a central place to learn about the PGA Program and to provide access to PGA-developed resources through links to the individual PGA sites.
  

• National Cancer Institute Genome Anatomy Project SNP Index - is an index of UniGene assemblies and the project's most current build of predicted SNP locations, searchable by gene, description, or nucleotide sequence.
• National Cancer Institute Genome Anatomy Project dbSNP - is an index to a database of attempts to map SNPs (dbSNP submitters' sequences plus GAI predicted SNPs) onto reference sequences and MGC sequences, predicting any protein coding changes caused by the SNPs.
• dbSNP (National Center for Biotechnology Information) - serves as a central repository for both single base nucleotide substitutions and short deletion and insertion polymorphisms.
• HGVbase (Human Genome Variation Database) - attempts to summarize all known sequence variations in the human genome, to facilitate research into how genotypes affect common diseases, drug responses, and other complex phenotypes.
• Whitehead Institute (MIT) Human SNP Database - provides a search for SNPs by name or Source STS, a SNP Chromosome distribution, a
  Polymorphic STS Chromosome distribution and Gap statistics.
  
• JSNP (Japanese SNP Database) - a database of common gene variations in the Japanese population.
